Job Title: Patient Care Supervisor - RedBox Rx
Department: RedBox Rx
FLSA: Non-Exempt
General Function
Our mission as a telehealth company is to provide easy, affordable, access to quality healthcare. Our patient care advocate team is responsible for ensuring this. As a patient care supervisor, you will lead a team to provide prompt, friendly, efficient support to patients and providers with inquiries related to visits and treatments. You will develop and implement processes and procedures that continuously improve efficiencies and patient experiences.
Reporting Relations
Accountable and Reports to: President, RedBox Rx; Pharmacy Manager, RedBox Rx; Pharmacists
Positions that Report to you: patient care advocates
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintains a positive attitude; creates a positive work environment for others.
• Responds to patient correspondence received via phone or email. Communicate with customers about visits and treatments.
• Mentors and trains other associates to provide exceptional care to RedBox Rx patients.
• Assists RedBox Rx providers as needed.
• Creates and enforces standard operating procedures and policies for patient care team.
• Develops standard responses to frequently asked questions for use in chat, email, and phone communication.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
• Works with co-workers as a team to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures and policies.
• Collaborates with pharmacy manger on special projects as required.
• Reports any medication errors to appropriate personnel.
• Orders, checks-in, and stocks pharmacy supplies.
• Responds to patient feedback through platforms such as TrustPilot and BBB.
• Attempts to recover disputed payments.
• Manages schedule for patient advocate team.
• Monitors and manages quality and efficiency of PCA communication with patients and partners.
• Works with pharmacy team to ensure efficient process and shipment of treatments.
• Reports to work when scheduled and works expected number of hours.
Education and Experience
• Bachelors' degree preferred.
• Current national certification as a pharmacy technician preferred.
Physical Requirements
• Visual requirements include ability to see detail at near and far range with or without correction.
• Must be able to physically exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently to move objects.
• Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Sitting, standing, reaching, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, typing and repetitive motions.

• Strong leadership skills; ability to assist other members of the department.
• Must have the ability to do logical or scientific thinking to solve problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have the ability to do arithmetic calculations involving arithmetic, algebraic and geometric calculations
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, answer phones, and assist in the preparation of accurate prescriptions.
• Must be able to compose original correspondence; follow technical manuals; have increased contact with people; evaluate medical data.
Working Conditions
This position is in an office setting that requires with continuous use of computers and frequent use of phones.
