Job Description:

We are seeking a Mid-Level Patent Litigation Counsel to support technology and industrial/aerospace patent litigation engagements within our legal network. This role is best suited for attorneys with solid, hands-on patent litigation experience and a strong technical background who can operate with moderate independence on complex matters.

Responsibilities:

•
Support and manage patent litigation matters involving infringement, invalidity, and enforcement for:

•
Software, AI, SaaS, and other technology platforms

•
Industrial, mechanical, and aerospace technologies

•
Draft and review pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and legal memoranda.

•
Conduct prior art analysis, claim construction support, and technical issue analysis.

•
Collaborate directly with in-house legal teams, engineers, technical experts, and outside counsel to align litigation strategy with business objectives.

•
Assist with expert discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

•
Support settlement discussions, licensing considerations, and litigation risk assessments.

Minimum Qualifications:

•
JD or equivalent with active U.S. bar membership in good standing.

•
5–14 years of patent litigation experience (in-house).

•
Technical degree or background in one of the following (or closely related field):

•
Mechanical Engineering

•
Computer Science

•
Aerospace Engineering

•
Electrical Engineering

•
Experience supporting patent matters for technology, industrial, or aerospace products.

•
Strong drafting, analytical, and issue-spotting skills with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

•
Prior experience supporting matters for or involving:

•
Technology companies: Google, Apple, SaaS platforms, AI companies

•
Industrial/Aerospace companies: Boeing, United, Lockheed Martin, GE, or similar

•
Experience translating complex technical concepts into litigation strategy.

•
Comfortable supporting remote and onsite client engagements as needed.

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $127,000, and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401k, and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
