Parts & Service Sales Specialist – Marine & Powersports
Full-Time | $50,000–$75,000 per year (Base Salary + Commission)
Rochester, MN

River Valley Power & Sport and River Valley Marine in Rochester, MN is actively hiring a full-time Parts & Service Sales Specialist to support both our marine dealership and powersports dealership operations.

If you have experience in parts sales, service advising, automotive parts, marine service, motorcycle parts, ATV/UTV accessories, small engine repair, or dealership counter sales, this is a high-visibility, performance-driven opportunity with strong earning potential and full benefits.

We are Minnesota’s largest Marine & Powersports dealership group, and we’re continuing to grow.

 

Compensation & Benefits

$50,000–$75,000 annual compensation (base salary + commission)

5-day work week

Key Responsibilities

Sell marine and powersports parts & accessories to retail customers

Support service technicians with parts lookup, ordering, and job estimates

Provide accurate service quotes and repair estimates

Process invoices, payments, and point-of-sale transactions

Receive, stock, and manage parts inventory

Maintain showroom and parts displays

Work approximately 50% of the time in the marine location (increased during peak boating season)

Provide rotating Saturday coverage (weekday off provided)

This role blends inside sales, customer service, dealership operations, and parts management in a fast-paced retail environment.

 

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in parts sales, service advising, dealership operations, or customer-facing sales preferred

Experience in marine, powersports, automotive, motorcycle, RV, lawn & garden, or small engine industries strongly encouraged

Knowledge of boats, outboard motors, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, or motorcycles is a plus

Strong communication and organizational skills

Comfortable working directly with customers and selling accessories

Basic mechanical aptitude preferred

High school diploma required

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (rotating)

Weekday off when working Saturday
