Parts Runner/Yard Helper

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Parts Runner/Yard Helper. We’re looking for candidates with a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Position Overview

The Parts Runner/Yard Helper plays a vital role in supporting Stepp’s daily operations by ensuring the safe transport and efficient yard maintenance. This versatile position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Essential Functions

Parts Runner (Must be approved to drive)

Maintain and clean the yard by removing waste and debris

Install Stepp’s Tow Away signs as required.

Washing trucks and trailers

Communicate effectively using a CB radio when necessary.

Perform additional duties as assigned according to job needs.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, crawl, pull, bend, reach, and climb as needed.

Significant physical strength and stamina required.

Frequent use of hands and the ability to sit for prolonged periods while maintaining alertness.

Working in an outside environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required.

High school diploma or GED.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to adapt to changing needs and solve problems as they arise.

Pay

$15/hour

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Weekends may vary depending on need)
