AF Collision is a trusted, locally-owned collision repair shop serving American Fork and the surrounding area. We’re dedicated to delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service. As our current Parts Coordinator is moving, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team and help keep our shop running smoothly.
Position Summary
The Parts Coordinator plays a key role in our day-to-day operations by managing the flow of parts in and out of the shop. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy with data entry, and a customer service mindset. Prior experience with auto parts or in a body shop environment is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
• Order parts needed for repair jobs in a timely manner.
• Receive, inspect, and distribute parts to technicians.
• Enter invoices and maintain accurate records.
• Handle return parts and ensure proper credits are captured.
• Keep the parts room organized and perform regular audits.
• Answer phones and provide professional customer service.
• Assist estimators with walk-in customers as needed.
• Support the team with additional shop duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a busy shop environment.
• Previous experience with auto parts or in a collision/repair shop is a plus.
• Basic computer skills (experience with shop management systems helpful).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player.
