Position Summary
The Partner Account Manager (PAM) drives partner-led revenue growth and expands Extreme Networks’ partner ecosystem within the assigned territory. This role works closely with partners, distributors, and Extreme sales and SE teams to develop joint opportunities and accelerate adoption of Extreme solutions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Partner Business Planning: Develop and execute joint business plans with partners, including revenue targets and pipeline development.
• Revenue & Pipeline Growth: Drive revenue growth through partner-led opportunities and ensure a strong sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
• Partner Development:Expand the partner ecosystem by developing existing partners and recruiting new high-potential partners.
• Executive Relationship Management: Build and maintain executive-level relationships with partner leadership to support long-term business growth.
• Partner Enablement: Support partner success through training, certifications, and joint go-to-market activities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with partners and Extreme field sales and SE teams to drive joint opportunities and successful customer outcomes.


Requirements:
• Channel Experience: Proven experience managing channel partners within the IT industry.
• Channel Sales Track Record: Strong track record driving products, solutions, and services through a multi-tier channel model.
• Communication & Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with partner executives, sales leaders, and technical teams.
• Matrix Organization Experience: Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment with regional and global teams.
• Solution Selling Capability: Ability to translate technical differentiators into business value for partners and customers.
• Language Skills: Japanese (Native) and English (Business level).


Preferred Experience:
• Industry Experience: Experience in the networking or enterprise infrastructure industry.
• Strategic Partner Management: Experience managing large system integrators or strategic partners.
• Networking Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise networking technologies such as switching, wireless, or SD-WAN.
