• Must have 7-10 years of utility substation design experience including new substation and substation retrofits: plan & elevation, layouts, bus design & configuration, grounding requirement, protection & control schemes, RTU & DFR, electrical online/schematics/wiring/interconnection, bill of material, cable schedule, 480V & 120/240V AC station service, 125VDC & 48VDC system, and all other associated components.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into detailed design and technical specifications, and provide work estimates with task breakdowns while working independently or as part of a project team
• Minimum five (5) years of experience with construction field support.
• Minimum 10 years of experience field testing and troubleshooting protection and control schemes.
• Demonstrate the clear understanding/knowledge of all the components of a transmission substation.
