Substance Use Disorder Treatment Outpatient Facility

The Outpatient Receptionist / Technician is primarily responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting visitors and guests, accepting deliveries, performing urinalysis testing, and other clerical duties in the Outpatient facility, as needed.
Basic Function
This position is primarily responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting visitors and gests, and accepting deliveries.
Responsibilities
Perform urinalysis testing.
Generate documentation and reports regarding drug testing.
Answer and route phone calls to appropriate staff.
Screen all visitors for clearance into the facility.
Maintains guest sign in book.
Create forms / documents, as needed, using basic computer skills.
Maintain lobby in neat and professional manner.
Assemble new client charts and maintain files of closed charts.
Adhere to laws regarding client confidentiality.
Maintain supply inventory and coordinate office supply orders.
Serve as liaison to outside vendors.
Maintain storage of client files.
Pick up, sort and distribute mail.
Attend weekly staff meetings in order to provide input regarding clients and facility.
Interface with clinical staff in a professional manner.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must possess basic computer skills (email, MSWord).
Must have excellent time management skills.
Must be knowledgeable in identifying patterns common to client population.
Must be willing and able to work flexible schedules when required.
Education
Position requires individual be registered and/or certified with one of the state-approved addiction counselor certification entities (e.g., CADTP, CAADE, or CCAPP)
Must have high school diploma, or equivalent.
Experience
Must have at least one year of qualifying job experience.
Working Conditions
Occasional ascending and descending of stairs.
Frequent sitting for prolonged periods.
Occasional crouching below the waist and / or above the shoulders.
Special Conditions
Must be willing to undergo random drug screenings.
