Part Time Line Cook for Brewery

Lakewood Brewing Company is a family-owned brewery located in Garland, Texas.  We are looking for a talented and passionate weekend and weekday Line Cook to join our team! 

The Line Cook will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure a fabulous guest experience by ensuring all food meets or exceeds our guests’ expectations. The ideal candidate will embody an attitude and passion for continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure quality and consistency of all food preparation, while being mindful of speed and presentation

Plate quickly and accurately

Move swiftly from one dish to the next

Ensure the final plate matches what the guest ordered

Creativity to come up with new menu ideas

Experience with sauce preparation 

Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Daily commitment to time management, organization, and interpersonal skills

Customer service: deliver dishes to brewery customers and offer additional add-on items.

Special Skills and Certifications

1 year line cook experience

1-3 years customer service experience

Food Handler certified

Positive attitude

Self-Motivated

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job: Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and move 165 lb. kegs of beer. Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend repeatedly throughout shift.
