Part-time Finance Specialist

Role:

This part-time role is designed for second-, third-, or fourth-year students in economics, finance, accounting, or related fields. We’re looking for someone who understands that a career starts during university — not after — and who finds their studies easy enough to take on a demanding part-time role with real responsibility.

You will assist the senior accountant and other team members with day-to-day accounting, financial, and administrative tasks in a company that is a world-class financial trading institution.

Your standard responsibilities

• Processing mostly incoming financial transactions

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

• Assisting with bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations

• Archiving bank statements

• Preparation of basic legal documents such as loan agreements

• Completing data for monthly billing

• Actively resolving others colleagues finance related requests and issues

• Communicating with suppliers to resolve invoicing and payment issues

• Sending documents to foreign accountants

• Communicating with the bank to resolve technical issues

Your profile

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• A responsible approach to your work

• Proficiency in Google Sheets (multilevel nested formulas, contingency tables, advanced functionalities)

• Upper-Intermediate English.
