The Role

GoSpooky is looking for a Part-Time Catering Assistant (Freelance) to support our Office Coordinator at our Amsterdam office. You’ll be working Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 14:00 (that’s a solid 4-hour shift to keep things running smoothly).

In this role, you’ll be the hero behind our daily lunches, which means preparing meals for the team, receiving and unpacking deliveries from Albert Heijn, and handling food prep (think heating ready meals, baking bread in the oven or air fryer, nothing too chef-level). You’ll also keep things tidy by loading and unloading the dishwasher and making sure the kitchen and dining area stay clean and organized.

You’ll work closely with the Office Coordinator and P&C team to keep everything running .On average you will need to facilitate lunch for around 30 people and on some occasions (busy days) it can be up to 60 people.  

If you’re not afraid of the challenge of peeling what feels like 50 avocados and just as many eggs, while doing laps between the air fryer and the oven, this might just be your calling.

We are looking looking for someone who can start in May. 

What you’ll do

Prepare lunch, including cutting vegetables and baking rolls

Set the table and clear it afterwards

Keep the kitchen and dining area tidy and clean

Load and unload dishes and kitchen utensils in the dishwasher

Arrange and order necessary groceries and re order stock.

Assist with any additional catering-related tasks as required

Maintain hygiene and safety standards at all times
