We have an exciting full-time job opportunity as PARKS SPECIALIST II - Trash Route!
WHAT YOU’LL DO: The position is responsible for performing general park maintenance duties throughout the District with an emphasis on trash removal and litter collection. Additional duties include, but are not limited to mowing, tree removal, athletic field maintenance, parking lot repairs, and snow removal.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
High school or trade school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience in parks maintenance or athletic field maintenance.
A State of Illinois Pesticide Operator’s License required within 6 months of hire
Illinois Class “C” driver’s license required within 6 months of hire.
WHEN YOU’LL WORK:
The schedule for this position is Friday through Tuesday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm with days off falling on Wednesday and Thursday.
WHAT YOU’LL GET:
For internal equity and budgetary considerations, the anticipated starting pay for this non-exempt position is set at $47,216/year.
This position falls under Pay Grade 2 with a pay range of $45,516-$63,723.
