About This Role

As an experienced Paralegal on the Property team, you’ll play a crucial role in client service and practice management. Bring your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach to help our team deliver excellent client care.

Key Responsibilities

Manage client intake, conduct conflict searches, and open new files.

Schedule meeting and manage Lawyer’s calendar.

Set court dates, track filing deadlines, and prepare client documents.

Draft routine correspondence and organize client report books.

Maintain electronic and paper files, handle mail, and coordinate document processing.

Conduct property searches, manage tax certificates and payments, and organize mortgage payouts.

Process wire transfers and manage financial requests.

Assist other Property team members as needed.

What You Bring

Experience: No less than two years' experience as a Property Paralegal. Graduate of a Legal Assistant or Paralegal program, or equivalent combination of training and experience. 

Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, proofreading, time management, and communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Mindset: A team player with a positive approach, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.

Tech Proficiency: Adept at using technology such as Outlook and Microsoft Office, with a talent for learning new software quickly. Familiarity with PropertyOnline considered an asset.
