Paralegal - Family Law PHP

We are looking for a hands-on Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate has practical experience handling Family Law cases and can manage workflows efficiently without constant supervision. Job modality: Remote
Responsibilities:
• Draft and review family law documents, including petitions for dissolution of marriage, child custody agreements, motions, and financial affidavits.
• Assist with the discovery process, including Mandatory Disclosure and financial document organization.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide case status updates with empathy and professionalism.
• Manage court calendars, schedule hearings, and ensure all filing deadlines are met.
• Prepare hearing binders and trial exhibits.
• File documents through the court’s e-filing portal (experience with Florida E-Filing Portal is a distinct advantage).
Skills:
• Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience as a Paralegal, specifically dealing with Family Law matters.
• Education: While a degree or certificate is welcome, we prioritize practical field experience and the ability to perform the work autonomously.
• Location Specifics: Knowledge of the Florida legal system and local court procedures is a major plus, but candidates from other states are also encouraged to apply.
• Language: Professional proficiency in English (C1) with strong legal drafting skills.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PDF editing tools, and case management software.
