Job Title: Paralegal / Legal Assistant – Probate or Guardianship Department
An established Elder Law Firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our Probate or Guardianship Department. Our firm’s practice areas include litigation, probate, benefits planning, guardianship, fiduciary services, estate planning, corporate law, and real estate. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of these areas.
These positions involve regular communication and meetings with clients, attorneys, and colleagues. Primary responsibilities include preparing pleadings and accountings; reviewing and facilitating approval of fiduciary reports; tracking and calendaring court deadlines; reconciling client-provided financial information; completing court filings; scheduling hearings; and collaborating with a team of paralegals to support the overall efficiency and success of the firm.
We are seeking a candidate who possesses a Paralegal Certificate or associate’s degree and/or 1–3 years of relevant law office experience. This is a full-time, in-office position with flexible scheduling available between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. A background check will be conducted prior to employment.

Prior law office experience required, preferably in one or more of the firm’s practice areas
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
Strong commitment to excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
Exceptional attention to detail, including proper grammar and punctuation (resumes and cover letters containing errors will not be considered)
Professional demeanor when interacting with attorneys, court staff, and families navigating sensitive or challenging circumstances
