Key Responsibilities
Update file statues via client systems (online highways) and internal document management system daily.
Prepare all related legal documents, correspondence, and all follow-up work as directed, and update clients accordingly.
Process large volumes of documents and ensure accuracy and completeness of electronic and paper client files with the use of a document management system.
Speak with debtors to review various options and related processes.
Invoicing and closing files.
Prepare detailed calculations with respect to assigned accounts.
Maintain consistent communication with lawyers, clients, sub-contractors, and defendants.
Other duties as required.
What You Bring
Experience: Graduate of a Paralegal diploma program, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience with debt recovery considered an asset.
Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, organization, proofreading, and time management, as well as proven communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service, including patience, empathy, and understanding.
Mindset: Critical thinker, problem solver, and team player with a positive attitude excited to contribute to a collaborative culture.
Tech Proficiency: Adept at using technology such as Outlook and the full Microsoft Suite, with a talent for learning new software programs quickly.
