Position Summary
Hours of Work
Full-time, 44 hours per week
Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 3:30pm and Fridays 6:00am - 2:30pm
Occasional overtime available
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Panel Room Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the panel room, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will lead a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth running of all panel room activities. Key Responsibilities
Oversee the production and assembly of panels, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are completed on time.
Read and interpret single line wiring diagrams and design build control panel layouts based on electrical design specifications and wiring schematics..
Interpret Canadian Electrical Code and ensure compliance.
Monitor and follow production schedules, delegating daily tasks based on shipping due dates and priorities.
Review received job pulls, compare them to BOM, and communicate any discrepancies.
Maintain consumables and stock inventory, replenishing inventory as needed.
Mark-up and communicate effectively with the design team for As-built drawings.
Ensure quality control and company standard practices are followed.
Identify quality control deficiencies and communicate corrective measures to the panel shop team.
Ensure all team members adhere to the Company Health and Safety Program and policies.
Maintain proficient communication with the supervisor and Production Manager on daily progress and weekly production updates.
Qualifications
Intermediate Microsoft and Excel skills are an asset.
Familiarity with Outlook and professional email etiquette.
Strong time management and organizational skills
