Painting Team Member (Summer Student Position) – Kitchener, ON.
Employment Type: Part Time, Seasonal | Experience Level: Entry-Level
Compensation: $22.00/hour
Schedule: On Site, Monday to Friday
The Painter is responsible for interior and exterior painting projects for residential and commercial properties, ensuring all work is completed with a high level of quality, precision, and attention to detail. This role includes edging, rolling, surface preparation, and general painting duties to maintain clean, professional, and visually appealing finishes.
This is a part-time summer student position, requiring flexibility in scheduling. Hours will typically range from 10–30 hours per week, depending on project demands and weather conditions for exterior work.
Responsibilities
Painting & Surface Preparation
Assist with setup and cleanup of job sites
Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment as required
Support general property upkeep and light maintenance tasks
Adhere to safety procedures and proper handling of materials
Key Attributes
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Physically capable of standing, lifting, and working on ladders
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Previous painting experience is an asset but not required (training provided)
A valid G driver’s license is an asset, but not required for this role.
