We are actively seeking a dynamic Painting Sales & Estimating Manager to drive growth and lead project estimation for our painting division in Dallas, TX. This full-time position offers a salary range of $65,000–$80,000. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in sales, client engagement, and project management to ensure accurate, competitive estimates for both commercial and residential painting projects. Based in Dallas, this role offers hands-on involvement with client relationships, project planning, and team leadership, helping the division achieve its business objectives. Candidates should have a proven background in painting estimating, bid preparation, and sales strategy execution, and be ready to contribute immediately to the Dallas market.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct on-site evaluations to assess project scope, requirements, and conditions in Dallas.
• Prepare precise cost estimates, including labor, materials, and project schedules.
• Develop and present competitive bids and proposals to clients and contractors.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure estimates are aligned with execution plans.
• Mentor and train junior estimators or sales staff as required.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability metrics.
• Identify new business opportunities and support overall sales strategy development.
• Serve as a local Dallas representative for painting sales initiatives.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in painting sales, estimating, or project management.
• Solid understanding of painting materials, techniques, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in estimating software or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
