We are hiring a Painter to mix, match, and apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes. The Painter shall scrape, sandpaper, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting. The Painter shall clean walls to ensure proper adherence, cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection, stage supplies and materials, and perform
proper cleanup.

Key Responsibilities
Surface preparation: cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming surfaces to prepare for painting.
Perform painting to include applying paint; varnish; stain; and other finishes to surfaces using brushes,
rollers, and spray guns.
Protect surfaces include covering furniture and woodwork with drop cloths or masking tape to protect
them from paint.
Repair surfaces to include filling cracks and holes with caulk, putty, or plaster.
Perform equipment maintenance to include cleaning and caring for brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other
equipment.
Prepare scaffolding to include erecting and rigging scaffolds to reach high ceilings or walls.
Manage inventory to include requesting equipment and supplies and tracking inventory.
Provide emergency responses to include resolving safety concerns.
Provide transportation to include transporting tools, equipment, and supplies to the job site.
Estimate time, materials, and costs.
Maintain records and reports.
Deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customers while working collaboratively to
build professional relationships (i.e., Personnel, customers, etc.).
Identify safety concerns to the Contractor Supervisor and other required stakeholders (i.e., DOD, ARMY,
OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
Assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to the COR as applicable.
Provide and assist with the required data to the Contractor Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix
of all related matters.
Ensure all administrative functions/paperwork are in order relative to receipt documentation, work orders,
or internal paperwork are accomplished on time and in the required format
Maintain a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail.

Required Experience
Minimum of (5) Years of Residential or Commercial Painting Experience and High School Diploma/GED and
(active) CLASS C Driver’s License.
