About the role:
We are currently on the lookout for a Blast & Paint Supervisor to join our Defence team based out in Osborne, SA. The key focus of the Blast & Paint Supervisor is to directly lead and develop a team of field-based staff; ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with our quality standards, delivering on the contractual requirements of our clients.
What you will be doing:
Lead and manage workers to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
Submit and maintain all completed site records.
Ensure sub-contractors/suppliers conform to project requirements.
Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with plans and procedures.
Participate in task planning and risk analysis, conduct regular audits, and maintain quality standards.
Demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.

To be considered for this role you need:
Experience supervising teams (Essential)
NACE 2 certified (Highly desirable)
Experience managing complex paint & blast /remediation/ waterproofing projects (Highly desirable).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Experience in asset remediation with blasting & painting, and concrete rehabilitation works (Highly desirable)
Possess technical knowledge in coatings, surface preparation, management of hazardous substances and application processes
Familiar with Quality systems - progressing, ITPs, QA/QC liaison
Proficient in Microsoft Office
