Job Title: Specialist Audiologist – Paediatrics
Banding: Equivalent to Band 6/7 (dependent on experience)
Location: East London
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months initially with option to extend
Hourly Rate: £45 per hour
Working Hours: Weekdays only, full-time or part-time applications considered
Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Paediatric Audiologists to join the team in East London and its affiliated community sites. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering high-quality audiology services to children across a range of ages.
The ideal candidates will have strong experience in paediatric audiometry and hearing assessments, with the ability to work independently across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct audiometry and hearing assessments for children aged 0–4 years and over 4 years.
• Provide accurate diagnostic evaluations and contribute to care planning.
• Work collaboratively with ENT and paediatric teams across hospital and community settings.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with service protocols.
• Deliver services in line with IR35 regulations (Inside IR35).
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in paediatric audiology, including under-4s.
• Strong clinical skills in behavioural and objective hearing assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work across multiple sites as required.
