This is not your typical packaging job! In addition to securely wrapping our high-end fire features, water features and planter containers, you will complete assembly tasks such as wiring, electrical work, natural gas plumbing, soldering, and installing wood seating. We also provide cross training in other departments to help you obtain new skills and knowledge. Qualifications & Skills
A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on, paid assembly or packaging experience is required.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience using standard hand tools for installation of accessories including casters, wood seating and cladding, LED lighting and light wiring, fire pit burner and light plumbing fittings and other options to products as specified in work order is preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly.
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with co-workers and supervisors.
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints is a plus.
Previous experience in manufacturing, general labor, warehouse construction, or forklift/pallet jack operation is a plus.
Responsibilities & Duties
Read and analyze work orders and drawings to determine packaging/assembly requirements.
Inspect, weigh, and package products.
Complete packaging processes with required quality, safety, and production standards.
Complete assembly tasks such as wiring, electrical work, natural gas plumbing, soldering, and installing wood seating.
Physical labor is a requirement of this position. Ability to work on feet all day and lift up to 75 pounds four feet in height.
Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization.
Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position.
Schedule & Pay
Swing Shift: Mon-Thur from 4:15 pm-2:45 am.
Fridays shifts may be required as needed, with overtime pay applicable for hours worked beyond 40 in the work week.
Pay of $18-22 per hour; DOE.
