We are looking for an experienced P2P Marketplace Leader to drive the strategy, growth, and operations of a C2C platform. This role requires deep expertise in building and scaling two-sided marketplaces, with a strong understanding of supply-demand dynamics, trust systems, and platform governance.

You will play a critical role in taking the platform from 0 to 1, establishing a sustainable ecosystem, and optimizing long-term marketplace health.

Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end marketplace strategy and operations for a C2C platform

• Drive cold start execution, including supply acquisition and demand activation

• Design and optimize supply-demand balance mechanisms to ensure liquidity and efficiency

• Build and refine trust & safety systems, including user reputation, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution

• Develop and implement platform governance frameworks and policies

• Analyze marketplace data to continuously improve conversion, retention, and engagement

• Collaborate with product, growth, and engineering teams to enhance user experience

• Explore and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., AI, crypto where relevant) to improve marketplace dynamics

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in C2C marketplaces strongly preferred; B2C marketplace experience will be considered if accompanied by relevant transferable experience (e.g., Taobao, Tmall, Xianyu or similar)

• Proven experience as a core operations leader in a P2P / C2C marketplace environment

• Hands-on experience in 0 to 1 marketplace build-out

• Strong understanding of:

• Two-sided marketplace dynamics

• Cold start problem-solving

• Supply-demand balancing

• C2C trust mechanisms and platform governance

• Deep familiarity with C2C marketplace logic and user behavior strongly preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High level of self-learning ability and adaptability

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience or strong interest in crypto/Web3 ecosystems

• Familiarity with AI tools or applications in marketplace optimization

• Experience working in international or global markets

• Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
