About the Opportunity

 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinates and sets up international Ocean import including but not limited to liaising between client and carrier, prepares required documentation and sets up insurance.

Coordinates and sets up international Ocean export including but not limited to liaising between client and carrier, prepares required documentation and sets up insurance.

Provides ocean quotes to clients and agents.

Tracking & Tracing and updates client visible notes in CW accordingly.

Administrative duties such as approving vendor tasks and billing.

Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and carriers.

Reviewing and adhering to export controls regulations & MIGRA

About You

 REQUIRED SKILLS

2 years related experience with strong knowledge of logistics

Knowledge of marine insurance

Knowledge of INCO terms 

Excellent Verbal & Written Communication skills

Ability to complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner

Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented and with high keying accuracy

Deductive reasoning and critical problem-solving skill

Typing speed of 40-50 words per minute

High accuracy and attention to detail

 NICE TO HAVE

Cargowise knowledge/experience is an asset
Preferably a licensed customs broker

CIFFA Certified

DG Ocean Certified
