What Can You Expect?

And you might be thinking: This is great, what will my day-to-day be like, at TDC? I’m glad you asked.

As a Outsystems ODC Consultant Developer you will have the opportunity to:

Develop web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform.
Collaborate with business analysts to understand and implement requirements.
Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in solution design and follow defined architecture standards.
Write clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices.
Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing.
Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
Integrate applications with external APIs and databases.
Stay updated on OutSystems features and continuously improve skills.

What Makes You a great Fit?

While we’re not seeking perfection or expecting you to save the world, we believe that if you meet some of these requirements, you’ll be a fantastic fit for our team. We are waiting for you!

Education in Computer Engineering or equivalent;
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in analyzing functional and technical specifications, and implementing Information Systems;
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience on the Outsystems platform and in-depth knowledge of the platform;
Knowledge in Outsystems Developer Cloud (ODC);
Knowledge of best practices in software development, including design patterns and software architecture and development of Responsive Design solutions;
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, AJAX development techniques;
Proficient knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery or any other JavaScript Library;
Autonomous programmer in MS .Net, more specifically in C#;
Experience in XML, XSLT, XSD, and XQuery;
Good knowledge of TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server);
Commitment to code quality and experience in testing practices.

Nice to have:

Experience in the insurance market;
DB2 Knowledge;
Outsystems "Professional Developer" certification;
Experience or knowledge in the development of native applications for iOS and/or Android;
We value any other knowledge or additional experience in the area of information technologies;
Fluent knowledge of the English language and Portuguese (nice-to-have).
