ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a regulated Electronic Money Institution (EMI) operating across Europe and supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA).

We are looking for an Outsourcing & Vendor Manager (m/f/d) to take ownership of the oversight of outsourcing arrangements, reliance models and vendors across the organisation. 

The role sits within the Risk Management function (2LoD), reports to the Head of Risk Management   and is responsible for maintaining a compliant outsourcing and third-party risk framework in line with EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing, DORA and local supervisory expectations.

This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to regulatory governance, operational resilience and vendor risk management in a growing fintech environment.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Outsourcing & Third-Party Governance (2LoD)

Act as the second line owner for outsourcing, and third-party risk oversight

Support compliance in the reliance framework

Assure that policies, procedures and templates are up to date

Ensure outsourcing and reliance arrangements are properly classified, documented and approved

Provide independent challenge and supervision of first-line outsourcing and vendor processes

Support risk reporting and internal governance committees

Vendor & Outsourcing Lifecycle

Oversee onboarding of new vendors, outsourcing arrangements

Support Compliance with onboarding of new reliance partners and oversight

Coordinate due diligence and risk assessments with internal stakeholders

Track documentation, approvals and risk reviews

Support periodic vendor reviews and renewals

Perform sample testing and quality reviews of outsourcing and reliance partners

Assist with offboarding and exit tracking

Outsourcing Register & DORA

Maintain and update the central outsourcing and third-party register

Support preparation and maintenance of the DORA Register of Information

Ensure data quality and completeness

Support regulatory reporting and supervisory information requests

 Audit, Monitoring and Governance

Support mapping of critical vendors and external dependencies

Support internal and external audits related to outsourcing, reliance and vendor risk

Contribute to monitoring plans and thematic reviews

Prepare management information, dashboards and risk insights

Support training and awareness initiatives for first-line teams

Support documentation of exit strategies and contingency plans

Stakeholder Coordination

Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, IT, Legal, Finance and business teams

Support internal stakeholders in following outsourcing procedures

Support training and awareness initiatives on outsourcing and vendor governance

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk, Law, IT or similar

2–5 years of experience in one or more of :

Risk management

Third-party or vendor risk management

Consulting or audit in financial services/tech

Operations in a regulated fintech or financial institution

Strong interest in outsourcing, vendor risk and operational resilience

Basic knowledge (or willingness to learn) of:

EBA Outsourcing Guidelines

DORA

Third-party risk management

Strong organisational and coordination skills

Detail-oriented and structured working style

Ability to manage documentation and spreadsheets

Good communication skills

Fluent in English (Finnish is a plus but not required)
