Job Summary

 We are seeking a motivated and skilled Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This unique role combines sewer camera inspection and diagnostics with sales responsibilities for recommending repair and replacement services. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a proactive attitude. You will be responsible for diagnosing drain systems while leading customers to informed and confident buying decisions.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct camera inspections for mainline stoppages and accurately diagnose drain issues.

· Engage with homeowners in a professional and courteous manner, effectively explaining drain problems and recommended solutions to generate sales opportunities.

· Prepare detailed estimates, sketches, and written descriptions to support proposals.

· Present estimates and proposals clearly to clients and obtain agreement for services before performing work.

· Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products to maximize revenue potential.

· Facilitate smooth communication between the Plumbing Department and clients to ensure seamless service execution.

· Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.

· Demonstrate basic plumbing knowledge, including the ability to remove and reset toilets and P-traps.

· Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

· Ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoices, time cards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in drain services, plumbing, or a related field is preferred but not required.

· Strong sales aptitude with the ability to confidently present solutions and close deals.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

· Self-motivated and able to work independently.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
