We are a subcontractor for Southern California's local natural gas, electric, and water utility companies. We have teamed up with these utility companies to provide their customers with measures/items that we install to reduce the home's electricity, water, and natural gas usage. We are seeking a highly driven and motivated applicant to join our team. As an Outside Marketer/Canvasser, you will be responsible for canvassing neighborhoods (knocking door to door), educating customers regarding no-cost programs available in their area, and presenting a friendly face to our customers. You will be responsible for attending ongoing training, remaining knowledgeable about ongoing programs, and scheduling appointments for assigned technician(s). Our Outside Marketer/ Canvassers are a vital part of our team in ensuring customers are properly educated regarding energy savings measures while promoting a friendly and outgoing attitude.

Responsibilities: 

Convey products and services and effectively explain the benefits of them to customers

Canvass (knocking door to door), distribute program literature and schedule appointments for technicians

Attend bi-weekly video and in-person training 

Become certified and badged for the Energy Savings Assistance Programs and complete all company training programs

Keep in regular communication with the office, assigned technician, and marketing manager

Have a friendly, positive, and outgoing attitude

Remain knowledgeable about current and ongoing programs within the company

Maintain a presentable and professional appearance 

Driving to different areas within the LA area to offer no-cost programs

Territory:

Chatsworth/ LA Area/ Antelope Valley/ San Fernando Valley/ Ventura

Qualifications:

Ability to look presentable and speak clearly

Positive and professional demeanor

Access to reliable transportation

Fluency in multiple languages is a plus

Client management experience recommended 

Basic computer and iPad skills

Pass Drug and background screening
