Palco Power Systems has a current opening in the Northern WV area for a Full-Time Outside Sales Representative – Industrial Generators & Services, Monday-Friday 8:30 am -5:00 pm + OT.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to lead industrial generator and service sales throughout Northern West Virginia. The ideal candidate will bring an existing customer base and a proven track record in securing industrial generator projects, maintenance agreements, and repair contracts.
Responsibilities:
Drive outside sales for industrial generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and related equipment
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships within industrial and healthcare markets
Secure maintenance and repair contracts for standby power systems
Support bid preparation and submission for state and facility-level generator maintenance contracts
Requirements:
Prior experience selling industrial generator projects
Prior experience selling industrial ATS units
Strong understanding of NFPA 110 Level 1 requirements for standby power applications
Knowledge of NFPA 110 maintenance standards for life safety and critical care facilities
Familiarity with OFLAC equipment and maintenance requirements for healthcare facilities
Knowledge of State of West Virginia generator maintenance contract bid procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Highly motivated self‑starter with the ability to work independently
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Able to thrive in a fast‑paced field environment
Must submit a background check and drug testing
