Outreach & Enrollment Specialist

Community Health Centers of South Central Texas, Inc. , a non-profit health clinic in Luling and Lockhart, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Outreach & Enrollment Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in helping patients navigate insurance coverage, enrollment processes, and access to care.

Position Overview

The Outreach & Enrollment Specialist plays a key role in assisting patients with insurance verification, enrollment support, and coordination with internal and external partners. This position requires extensive interaction by phone and in person, ensuring patients receive accurate information and timely assistance.

Qualifications

Excellent computer skills, multitasking abilities, and professional phone etiquette

Ability to work well under pressure; most paperwork is time-sensitive

Strong team player with willingness to assist with additional assigned tasks

Knowledgeable in insurance terminology, types of policies, and industry rules/standards

Ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance providers, customer service representatives (CSRs), and billing personnel

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required

Spanish-speaking preferred
