Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Intake Coordinator to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission by providing compassionate support and effective therapeutic interventions to individuals seeking recovery. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities
Maintains a positive therapeutic environment.
Complete client intakes across all IOP sites.
Enroll clients in VISTA.
Send regular VISTA audit reports to counselors indicating which clients need follow-up.
Monitor UAs and notify counselors via email when clients are due for testing.
Conduct utilization reviews as needed.
Order and manage program supplies to support daily operations.
Assist with insurance authorizations as needed.
Collects payments, organizes and creates payment plans in EMR and tracks payments by following payment plan approval process.
Ensure client balances are paid in full before discharge, unless an approved payment plan is in place.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Current RADT, SUDRC, CADC or SUDCC is required.
High school diploma or GED.
One or more years' experience in healthcare preferred.
Experience in a high-volume call center preferred.
Knowledge of community resources
Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
