Job Summary

As a OTM Consultant (Oracle Transportation Manager)(19889) you will be responsible for supporting and delivering transportation solutions within Oracle Transportation Manager (OTM), covering key functionalities such as Order Management, Transportation Planning and Execution, Supply Chain Visibility and Event Management, Inventory Visibility, and Freight Bill Audit and Payment. You will manage and complete customer work packages while ensuring alignment with defined budgets, work plans, quality standards, and timelines, analyze and address client requirements using established templates, frameworks, and standard product functionalities, and collaborate with internal or external DevOps teams to deliver transportation project solution work packages and implement change requests.

Responsibilities and Duties

• The key purpose of this role is to gather requirement, solution design services and development of the transport solution for a broad range of projects and Support.

• Support the business project teams to determine IT solution requirements, CRP demonstrations, customer meetings, solution design

• Manage the implementation of IT project work packages in line with the DHL DevOps way of Working.

• Manage required IT development activity in line with the customer requirements. Ensure any development IT in accordance with supplier governance policies.

• Provide IT support as required for live customers (CRs, new releases etc.).

• Projects implementation, post warranty support and Go-live Support.

• Build effective relationships and maintain close liaison with business and IT by maintaining regular contact through the full project lifecycle.

• Undertake other projects and roles as required from time to time by senior management.

• Run business requirement and GAP analysis workshops for template based implementations.

• Build working relationships with Project team, customers, business and suppliers

• Development of test scenarios and scripts.

• Work with testing team to automate the Testing.

• Manage and/or perform IT testing and support user acceptance testing.

• Document user training to internal and customer teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Good understanding of transportation customer requirements and good technical understanding of solution capabilities e.g. OTM, Kewill.

• Good Knowledge on Agile and DevOps.

• General understanding of transport related ancillary systems and B2B integrated e.g. HERE, Transporeon, Centiro.

• Participates and organizes workshops & events.

• Preparation of solution design proposals from a commercial as well as a technical perspective.

• Advising / consulting to external customers.

• Coordinate, direct and oversee work package delivered by Specialists and/or suppliers

• Developing content for customer presentations and providing technical/functional content

• Years of Experience: 5-8 Years | 3-4 Full Life Cycle Implementation (At least one Implementation in Agile/DevOps) in Oracle Cloud.

• Geographical Experience: Experience implementing Transport solutions in latest Oracle Cloud at least two different regions.

Main Technical tools:

• Core OTM Expertise: In-depth knowledge of OTM modules (Shipment Management, Rate Management, Business Process Automation).

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL/PL-SQL, XML, and XSLT.

• OTM Tools: Experience with Workflow Agents, Integration Manager, and Screen Sets.

• Cloud Experience: Strong hands-on experience with OTM Cloud is highly preferred.

• -Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of transportation modes (FTL, LTL, Ocean, Air), multi-leg planning, and freight audit.
