Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician (O&P Technician) to support clinicians by fabricating, modifying, and maintaining custom orthotic and prosthetic devices that enhance patient mobility and quality of life.
This hands-on role is ideal for a technically skilled individual who takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently in a lab environment, and is committed to producing high-quality, patient-specific medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
• Build, modify, and finish custom orthotic and prosthetic devices according to clinician specifications
• Assist clinicians with device setup, alignment, and adjustments
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on prosthetic and orthotic devices
• Operate and maintain fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant lab workspaces
• Track work orders, production schedules, and material usage
• Follow established safety protocols, infection-control guidelines, and quality standards
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience in orthotics, prosthetics, or technical fabrication preferred
• Strong craftsmanship skills and attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools and fabrication equipment
• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to learn new fabrication techniques and materials
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team
