If you are looking for a long-term position as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant in progressive, state of the art offices, with great pay and benefits please read below! We are looking for a Full-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our office (on average 32-40 hrs/week). The successful applicant must be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, caring and a compassionate individual to connect with team members, parents and patients. It is also important that this person possesses a positive attitude with professional commitment and is friendly and out-going in a team-oriented environment.
Requirements: (The applicant must meet the following requirements)
High School diploma
Completion of an approved Dental Assistant program and certification as a Dental Assistant (RDA)
Orthodontic module
Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Must be computer proficient and learn new software easily (software used in our office are Dolphin and Curve)
Excellent communication skills
Availability to work during applicable business hours
Ability to work well with children of all ages
Proficient in English
Willingness to be cross-trained between orthodontic and pediatric procedures
Must be willing to travel between different office locations
Responsibilities and Duties
Orthodontic assistant duties
Pediatric Dentistry assistant duties (as needed)
Sterilization and infection control
Qualifications and Skills
RDA License
Orthodontic Module
Scaling Module (Preferably)
