ORMB Technical Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) Technical Consultant to support and optimize our existing billing platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ORMB, with a focus on performance tuning, system optimization, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimize the existing ORMB solution to ensure compliance with licensing and usage guidelines
• Improve performance of batch jobs, including billing, payment processing, and financial transactions
• Identify bottlenecks and implement performance tuning strategies across SQL, batch processes, and system configurations
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal business disruption
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes for recurring issues
• Monitor system performance and proactively recommend improvements
• Collaborate with business, functional, and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability and efficiency
• Support release activities, patch deployments, and system upgrades
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, fixes, and enhancements
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards, security policies, and compliance requirements

Requirements:
Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB)
• Strong technical expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and Java
• Proven experience in batch performance tuning and optimization
• Experience in production support (L2/L3), incident management, and issue resolution
• Good understanding of billing and financial systems, preferably in insurance or banking domain
• Familiarity with Oracle-based applications and enterprise system integrations
