ORMB Developer/Support Engineer, AVP

Who we are looking for:

The ORMB Application Developer - Assistant Vice President will be responsible for Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) system requirement analysis, functional solution design, and technical support. You will work with global development teams through the entire SDLC cycle, focusing on implementation strategy discussion, and collaborative solution design to support business billing and revenue management needs. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development expertise, billing domain knowledge, and the ability to independently communicate with global stakeholders in English.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As an ORMB Application Developer you will:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand billing workflows, pricing models, invoicing processes, and revenue recognition requirements.
• Provide technical support for ORMB system issues, troubleshooting and resolving production incidents in a timely manner.
• Ability to develop and maintain Java-based ORMB extensions, web services, and integration components.
• Independently communicate with global teams, offshore vendors, and business stakeholders in English to drive requirement clarification and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and senior leaders to define technical solutions and delivery plans.
• Ensure ORMB system performance optimization and high-quality delivery to meet client onboarding and operational requirements.
• Lead ORMB system upgrades, patches, and migration activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ORMB configurations, customizations, and processes.

Educational Requirements and Required Skills:

• Master or bachelor degree in computer science, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java development including Core Java, J2EE, and enterprise application development.
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
• Experience building RESTful APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and microservices architecture
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) system development, configuration, and support; Deep understanding of ORMB architecture, data model, and core modules
• Strong understanding of billing domain knowledge including pricing models, rate design, invoicing, payment processing, collections, and revenue recognition
• Fluent in English with the ability to independently communicate, negotiate, and present to global stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and senior management
• Strong experience with Oracle database and PL/SQL programming
• Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Ability to drive development/testing/support activities by effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders globally
