Position Overview
Tuckernuck is looking for an Organic Social Media Associate to join our growing Marketing team. This person will be responsible for supporting the Marketing team in executing and evolving Tuckernuck’s organic social media presence across platforms, helping to grow and engage our community through thoughtful, trend-aware, and brand-first content.
The Organic Social Media Associate should be enthusiastic about identifying and creating engaging content ideas and supporting day-to-day social execution. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented thinker who collaborates well across teams and understands how to maximize engagement through platform-native storytelling. Experience and a passion for retail, fashion, and social media is essential. This position reports to Bess Eastman, Growth Marketing Manager.
Core Responsibilities
Support the Growth Marketing team in executing Tuckernuck’s organic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and emerging platforms.
Assist in planning, scheduling, and publishing daily organic social content, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, campaigns, and key product launches.
Monitor social trends, conversations, and platform updates to identify opportunities for timely, relevant content.
Collaborate with internal teams (Creative, Merchandising, Private Label, and E-commerce) to understand product priorities, launches, and storytelling opportunities.
Assist in developing social content concepts, captions, and creative briefs that align with brand voice and seasonal messaging.
Manage social media assets and ensure timely organization and sharing across teams.
Engage with the Tuckernuck community through comments, messages, and interactions, helping to foster an authentic and engaged audience.
Track and assist in reporting on organic social performance, including engagement, growth, and content insights.
Analyze performance data to identify trends and inform future content decisions.
Support social activations, in-store moments, and brand events through real-time content capture and posting.
Assist with daily team operations, including scheduling, asset management, content calendars, and cross-functional coordination.
Minimum Qualifications
2-4 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Experience managing or supporting organic social media accounts
Passion for social media, with an intuitive sense for emerging trends and platform best practices
Strong understanding of social media analytics, engagement metrics, and content performance
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an eye for brand voice and storytelling
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
Action-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to learn and contribute new ideas
Energetic, kind, sincere, and positive attitude
Interest in using data and insights to inform creative decisions
Experience with social scheduling and analytics tools is a plus
Experience capturing or editing social-first content is a plus
Retail or fashion experience is a plus
Compensation
Compensation for the role will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. The estimated annual compensation for this role is $60,000-$75,000; classified as full-time exempt and not eligible for overtime.
