To support our continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and organised Order Processor and Sales Administrator to join our Sales and Customer Service Team and help ensure smooth order processing and effective communication across departments.
Role Description:
This is an office-based role processing and managing customer orders. The Order Processor and Sales Administrator plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from receipt through to dispatch. Acting as a central communication point between sales, production, and the warehouse, the role helps ensure that customer requirements are met and any operational issues are quickly identified and resolved.
This position requires a fast-thinking individual with a proactive, can-do attitude who can adapt quickly to daily challenges and work collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process customer orders and amendments
Ensure orders are confirmed, scheduled, and communicated to the relevant departments in a timely manner
Work closely with the Finance and Sales team to ensure orders are dealt with efficiently to avoid delivery delays
Work with the supply chain, planning and transport departments to ensure all customer requests go smoothly
Monitor order progress and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure on-time fulfilment
Work with the Sales team to organise delivery of samples to customers in a timely manner
Maintain accurate order records, documentation, and system updates
Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing reports, updating customer information, and assisting with account documentation
Liaise with customers regarding their orders and general enquires, taking ownership of any escalations for their enquires.
Effectively escalate new sales enquires in a timely manner to the relevant Account Manager
When necessary, assist the Technical and Sales team with NPD projects
Assist with pricing updates, customer communications, and internal reporting when required
Work closely with the Warehouse and Production teams to ensure order requirements are clearly communicated
Act as a key point of contact between departments and customers to help resolve operational queries and order related issues
Support the Warehouse Manager and operational teams by helping identify and communicate any issues affecting orders or deliveries
Respond quickly to daily challenges that may affect order processing or delivery schedules
Work collaboratively with internal teams to find practical solutions and maintain customer service standards
Deliver a high standard or customer service through professional communication and timely responses
Maintain positive relationships with key customers by ensuring reliable order management and support
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate must have:
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Previous experience in an administrative, sales support, or order processing role (previous experience within FMCG, or a similar operational environment is desirable)
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills across different departments

Working Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
