Who Is Tire Hotel?

Tire Hotel Inc. is a seasonal Tire Storage and logistics provider supporting automotive dealerships across Southern Ontario. We specialize in the secure storage, delivery, and retrieval of seasonal tires, operating from our temperature-controlled warehouse in Woodbridge, Ontario.

Our team works closely with dealership partners throughout the Greater Toronto Area, Oshawa, Ajax, Barrie, Kitchener, and London to ensure tires are transported and stored safely and efficiently during peak seasonal periods.

Job Description:

The Order Picker will work as part of a team in our climate-controlled warehouse. Tire Hotel is a tire storage facility where employees assist the Warehouse Supervisor or Team Lead with picking, staging, and storing sets of tires as part of daily warehouse operations.

Daily tasks include picking and staging sets of tires and putting away tires that arrive back at the facility. Picking tires involves stacking tires four or six high onto pallets, scanning tire labels for inventory accuracy, and using a reach lift (cherry picker) to store tires in racking up to 30 feet high. Tires are manually moved one at a time from the pallet to the racking and pushed or rolled into place. The racking is approximately five feet deep, with two tires placed at the back and two at the front. Tire labels and racking labels must be scanned to confirm accurate inventory location.

This position requires frequent moving, squatting, bending, and lifting up to 70 lbs throughout the shift. Employees must maintain a productive pace while following established procedures to ensure inventory accuracy and adherence to all warehouse safety protocols.

Experience & Requirements:

Experience loading and offloading trucks using tire dollies (preferred but not required)

CSA-approved safety boots (required)

Valid reach lift license (required)

Ability to safely lift 50–70 lbs repeatedly

Ability to stand, squat, walk, and lift throughout the workday

Ability to learn quickly and accept feedback from management and experienced team members

Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance

Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Shift Work Monday to Friday
Day Shift – 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Salary Range:  $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Contract Length: 10-12 weeks
