Job description
Client is looking for Oracle OTM technical resource. Candidate should have strong experience with Operating systems, install, troubleshoot OTM on Linux OS, assist development and support teams in OTM issues related to infrastructure (OS and other applications integration)
OTM (Oracle Transportation Manager) Environment/Infrastructure/Application Expert
Resource must:
- Have deep experience (8 years +) working with the OTM tool and various versions.
- Have experience upgrading OTM. (Ideally from 6.3x versions to 6.4x)
- Strong experience with installing OTM on Linux servers.
- Deep troubleshooting experience with OTM from an infrastructure perspective: Servers, security, firewall, accounts, performance, database, etc.
- Deep understanding of OTM components and how the functionality is enabled through the infrastructure.
- Strong communication and organizational skills. Able to help lead a small team of people through an upgrade, communicate effectively with the functional resources, and plan appropriate steps to move the organization through the upgrade change.
- Strong functional understanding of the OTM tool and capability as to be able to effectively communicate with functional resources.
