Oracle PL/SQL - APEX developer

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Oracle PL/SQL Developer with expertise in Oracle APEX for building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications.

The PL/SQL Developer role involves managing application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems using Oracle technologies.

What you'll do:

• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Develop efficient and maintainable Oracle PL/SQL and APEX applications, including backend data processing, integration, and database optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues, optimize SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated practical experience in Software Development.
• Substantial experience in PL/SQL development.
• Experience developing and customizing Oracle APEX applications with knowledge of APEX components, interactive grids, dynamic actions, and APEX architecture.

• Skilled in writing efficient, modular, and optimized PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries.
• Strong understanding of Relational Databases and Oracle SQL.
• Experience in working with RESTful web services, API integration, and middleware technologies (e.g., ORDS, SOAP, JSON, XML).
• Experience with test-driven development methodologies.

Will be considered a plus:

• Experience with Oracle Forms development and customization.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, BI reporting, and Oracle BI Publisher.
• Proficiency in advanced Oracle Database features, such as Autonomous Database optimization and cloud integration.
