The Database Administrator, is responsible for performing analysis and maintenance of existing databases, defining specifications and developing new databases, as well as identifying and advising on securing database in accordance with, industry, Customers best practices and security policies.

Key Role

Qualified candidates for the Database Administrator position will be helping to develop and secure databases in support of customer; Among the roles that a well-qualified candidate will perform include:

• Providing senior technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis

• Designing advanced relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading software

• Defining project long-range requirements for database administration and design

• Developing a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development and make trades among data volumes, number of users, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security and domain controls
