Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for Oracle APEX Developer (1–4 years) to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise banking and financial applications.
You will work closely with senior developers to implement business requirements, enhance existing modules, and ensure stable and secure operations across Oracle APEX and PL/SQL components. This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, grow their technical expertise, and contribute to real-world financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle APEX applications (v21+).
• Write and optimize PL/SQL code (packages, procedures, and functions) under guidance.
• Participate in integrating APIs (REST/SOAP) using ORDS or similar tools.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and report generation for financial and compliance use cases.
• Collaborate in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Contribute to documentation, deployment activities, and user support tasks.
• Follow best practices for application security, performance, and coding standards.
• Work within Agile teams, attend sprint meetings, and participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements:
Technical Skills
• Basic to intermediate experience with Oracle APEX (interactive reports, forms, dynamic actions).
• Solid understanding of SQL and PL/SQL, including query writing and debugging.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML data handling, and ORDS basics.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for simple APEX UI customizations.
• Awareness of version control systems and software delivery processes.

Soft Skills
• Strong willingness to learn and improve technical and domain knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and accountability for assigned tasks.
• Ability to follow guidance from senior developers while working independently on smaller modules.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience developing applications using Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
• Experience in banking or financial systems is an advantage but not mandatory.

Nice-to-Have
• Exposure to Oracle Forms/Reports modernization projects.
• Basic understanding of data pipelines, ETL concepts, or reporting tools.
• Awareness of cloud environments (OCI/Azure) or containerized deployments.
