Job Description
We are looking for an OPEX Engineer to support and lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and production processes. This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities, implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and driving measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and operational performance within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze manufacturing and production processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assess problems holistically and select and apply the most appropriate continuous improvement methodologies to address specific business and process challenges.
• Develop and maintain process documentation to support improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor staff on Lean philosophy and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated solutions.
• Lead and facilitate 5S, Process Mapping, Kaizen events, or projects to drive measurable results.
• Monitor and report project progress and performance metrics to senior management.
• Monitor the Continuous Improvement KPIs and drive actions to keep updated.
• Ensure all improvements align with quality standards, compliance requirements, and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Advanced level of English
• 3+ years of experience in:
• Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
• Analysis and statistical tools. (E.g. Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Leading teams on driving continuous improvement projects, with
• demonstrated impact.
• MS Office tools.
• Visa for USA and availability to travel for periods of 2-3 months
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Good judgment with the ability to make sound and timely decisions
• People-oriented and results-oriented.
