Operator/ Porter

Main Purpose of Job
To work closely with the Warehouse Supervisors and Co-ordinators to ensure effective
and timely picking and dispatching of finished goods to customers.

Key Outputs / Main Functions
• Assemble Loads
• Physically pick finished goods using RF technology on a daily basis. Load and
Off-load Containerised finished goods.
• Loading and Off-Loading Containerised Finished Goods.
• The physical off-loading of Imported finished goods.
• Palletizing goods according to prescribed format for entry into the Distribution
Centre.
• The physical loading of containers for Export purposes.
• Maintaining a Clean working environment.
• Ensure that the working area is clean and tidy at all times.
• Removal of bad cases from pallets inside the warehouse to an agreed location
selected for this purpose.
• Ensuring that warehouse goods are clean and orderly.
• Participating in Stock Counts
• Physically counting Finished goods for the purpose of accurately recording them.

Summary of required experience and qualifications:
• Five (5) CXC Ordinary Level Passes and experience in warehousing
operations.
• A valid Forklift Operator Licence.
• Computer Literate
• Competent use of Nestlé’s WHMS in an SAP environment.
