We are looking for a motivated individual to fill the full-time position (100%) of Polymers Operations in our Rotterdam office, 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension subject to performance and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Execute and manage the full operational cycle of trades (product, documentation, and payment flow)
Issue and maintain sales orders and purchase orders in the ERP system
Coordinate shipment activities (vessel, container, truck), including loading and discharge operations
Arrange freight bookings, submit shipping instructions, and review shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading)
Prepare and manage all trade-related documentation (transport documents, certificates of origin, customs documentation)
Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any operational issues
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements
Maintain accurate and timely data entry in ERP systems in line with company policies
Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Credit, Compliance, Commercial) to support trade execution
Communicate shipment status and updates to local and international stakeholders
Build and maintain relationships with logistics providers, warehouses, inspection companies, and other service providers
Negotiate rates and service terms with third-party logistics providers when required
Evaluate transportation options to ensure safe and compliant product handling
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Provide high-quality customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Supply Chain, or related business field (required)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (required)
Experience working in an ERP system (preferred)
Prior experience in logistics or physical commodity movements (preferred)
