Operator - Olmsted Aggregate

Olmsted Aggregate is a leading aggregate provider in the greater Rochester area.  With four quarry and pit locations, we provide a variety of rock, stone, sand, and dirt for commercial and residential use.  We are looking for an operator to join our team.  Must have previous heavy equipment experience in a variety of machines.

Responsibilities:

Comply and follow MSHA regulations and company safety policies

Daily, pre and post inspection of equipment

Routine maintenance of equipment including grease, fuel, fluid checks, wash, etc.

Communicate closely with aggregate foreman for instructions

Notify managers of equipment repairs

Report safety concerns or incidents in a timely manner

Setup/tear down of crushing/screen/plants

Assist with screen changes – working on step ladder

Physical Demands:

Working in all weather conditions – Rain, sleet, snow, heat, cold

Exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery

Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs

Kneeling, squatting, standing for extended periods of time

Corrected vision and hearing within normal range to observe and communicate with crew members to assure safety

Looking for hazards other equipment/people etc.

Shovel/Raking/Scraping etc.

Benefits:

$25-$35 hourly wage, based on experience
