COSMOTE Global Solutions, a member of the OTE Group of Companies, is an ICT Systems Integrator delivering a wide range of ICT Solutions and Services. CGS offers services focusing on Cloud, Data Centre operations, Networking, Cybersecurity, Business Intelligence, Service Desk, Proactive Monitoring, Operations and Support, Service Management, Project and Programme Management, and Professional Services.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure system stability, security, and performance after entry into operations
• Provide second-level support for incidents, problems, and service requests
• Perform corrective, adaptive, preventive, and perfective maintenance
• Monitor system performance and respond proactively to alerts
• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams for deployments and improvements
• Work with DBAs, architects, and operational teams on configuration and change management
• Participate in release and change management processes
• Contribute to incident analysis, documentation, and knowledge sharing
• Maintain runbooks and support knowledge transfer activities
• Provide support for middleware and integration components such as APIs, messaging systems, identity management, and web platforms
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in IT operations or technical support roles.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Event, Knowledge Management)
• Experience with ITSM tools
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with container orchestration and observability tools
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and configuration management
• Knowledge of APIs, middleware, integration platforms, and identity and access management
• Understanding of database monitoring, backup, and recovery processes
