Operations Supervisor
Location: Saint Erth Depot
Shift: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Closing date: 22nd April 2026
We’re looking for an experienced Supervisor to support our Collections Team in Cornwall. This is a great opportunity to progress your career in a fast-paced operational environment while living our core values: Teamwork, Fairness and Respect (#TFR).
What We’re Looking For
• Supervisory experience with team leadership skills
• Knowledge of collections services (Local Authority experience desirable)
• Strong organisation, communication, and IT skills (Word, Excel, systems)
• Ability to problem-solve and manage change
• Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
• Experience with large vehicles and driver compliance (preferred)
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Plan daily operations, including crew, vehicles, and resources
• Manage staff performance, attendance, and engagement
• Ensure all documentation (tachographs, timesheets, defect reports) is completed accurately
• Maintain operational records and systems
• Promote and enforce Health & Safety compliance
• Support driver compliance (licence, hours, infringements)
• Assist in achieving contract and business objectives
